This review is long overdue.This is one of my all time favorite CD's, by one of the greatest performers of our generation. Every song is classic. I saw Richie Havens in concert several times, always in small venues, and -- as everyone who ever had the privilege of seeing him perform agrees -- he gave the best live concert of any "small venue" performer I've ever seen. He always gave 100% -- never phoned it in -- and sounded exactly the same in person as on the CD, which brings back such wonderful memories. Plus, the energy he brought to his live performances was amazing.Do yourself a favor -- BUY THIS CD. If you already have it, buy it as a gift, to introduce another generation to an icon.RIP, Richie
