My son loved these books, and now, my new grandchild will too!!My children and now my grandson love the colorful and relatable characters in RS’s books!Love lowly!My 3 yo grandson asks for Lowly Worm stories regularly on our FaceTime calls. Somewhat dated, but I adapt wording to modern usage as we go. Great for giggles!My son loves the Richard Scarry busy world books. I read them all throughout my childhood as well. I bought this for him because he had the please and thank you book from Mr. Scarry and he loved Lowly worm so I figured it would be a hit. Boy was I right. My son LOVES this book, he likes the polite page and he loves the page with "all the things lowly worm can do". Great book for any child who loves this series!My family has enjoyed Busy Town and Lowly Worm stories for years!!! Great memories!!!Such a funny and creative book for our 3 year old grandson. It’s broken up into a number of unique and funny stories. Young children will enjoy this if they like any of Richard Scary’s books.This is my (I mean my toddler's) favorite Richard Scarry Book. Lowly worm is an adorable character, noble, and with great manners. I like the theory that he can put on his own pants and even wears underwear, despite only having one leg and no arms. Other than that, I casually reference Lowly worm in daily conversation with my toddler due to his stellar good manners and habits.The beginning/end covers have lowly worm shaping each letter of the alphabet - this is a great way to start and end the book, with us tracing him/the letter.Finally, gold bug makes a surprise appearance in nearly every page (or every story line/mini chapter). He is even on the cover and in the preface. If you are tired of reading, you can convert reading the whole storybook to just looking for goldbug on every page.I have loved lowly worm since I was little and this book is just so amazing !!!!!!!
