There are 3 pages missing with the 3-D parts missing which are the selling points of this item.There are 3 pages in this book with nothing in the hole on the pages, with hinges for holding items.Also on the back of the book it states "Used- Acceptable" not In like Used - Very Good Condition.The book is more than 1/2 damaged, unacceptable to me.I wish they would update this. The newer books are so much better. This one is very outdatedI really like this book. It gives many details about horse anatomy, breeds and characteristics. They could have done away with the unproven information about horse evolution. I dislike that because it is only a theory. The other information in the book can be easily verified, but horse evolution cannot. It would have been a great book if the author had stuck to the verifiable facts.We bought this book for my daughter to use in her first ever school report and presentation which she did on horses. The book was very helpful and seeing the body parts really interested her and the other kids. We already had the Uncover a Dog book and really liked that, so figured this would be just as good and it was. Very happy with purchase!This "Uncover a Horse" is perfect for my granddaughters (reference the title) and has provided so much knowledge in a "fun" way as they love their horses! I think every "horse-lover" and owner simply must have a copy. (Your horse will thank you for understanding him/her and what it takes to make this beautiful creature of God!!!)I thought this would just be a bunch of colored plastic overlays, but after the cover, everything is 3D models of major organ systems. Make sure your kid knows not to touch the models. I wouldn't say they're super fragile, but some pages are more fragile than others. Aaaand that's how I got a horse uterus in my junk drawer!Good book! Was a little beat up when received although it was wrapped in plastic. Given as a gift and was loved.Love all these original uncover books. Came with great condition with just little used.A favorite in my Grade 3 classroom, although one piece did break off, it was probably because the book is so well used!
