I am such a fan of this band. Took all these years for me to get this Best of set, I got every CD & single within a few months of seeing the video for Squares the first time. Did not ever really get music DVDs back then. I am very pleased with it. My only wish would have been for the whole Shepherds Bush show to have been included. I was fortunate to see them after Heroes to Zeroes in Dallas TX. Almost unbelievably for me at the time, my buddy & I got to share Pizza & hang out with all but Steve. If I remember right the others said he wasn't feeling well. You certainly could not tell from the performance. Rich, John & Robin each signed my Beta T. I said that I had been an art student so if they wanted to, they could draw or anything else & they each did. It filled most if the back if my XXL shirt. It's a bit faded now but I still wear it every once in while. I have been lucky to see several other fantastic shows during my time(57yrs) but I will always consider that show as one of my favorites. Devo, Queen, Who, Roger Waters, Joe Jackson, Ween and Air are some that I recall w/similar fondness. I missed the opportunity to see so many others whose music has been important to me that I am especially happy that I got to see & say something similar to these guys. To borrow a phase already famously borrowed by my fellow Okie SE Hinton "Nothing gold can stay". I do believe these guys' collaborative musical contributions will likely continue to bring people pleasure & solace far into the future. Thanx again Beta Band.
