I love celebrating every holiday with a book, so I was on the lookout for a great book for Father's Day. I may have found it!!Summary: We follow Bertie through his day as he goes to school while his dad goes to work as a builder. Bertie has a rough day- someone ruined his painting and he tripped during lunch! Later that evening as he talks about his day with his Daddy he learns that sometimes Daddys have rough days too. But no matter what, the best part of the day is when they are together.This was such a sweet book and I loved the sweet, young sounding voice the story was told in. I also loved the adorable illustrations, depicting Bertie and his father eating breakfast together, giving each other hugs before school/work, and the sweet moments they shared as they wound down before bed.The ONLY thing I don't love about this book is that it seems very cheaply made. On the second or third read the pages just fell right out. For the price I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the binding. If this book gets a higher quality reprint, I'd snatch it up in a heartbeat.
