Best Big Band Music for Parties & Events

This is a relatively small collection of Goodman big band numbers from 1940–41, many of them with vocals by Helen Forrest. The tunes are great, and the sound is excellent, too. You can tell these are taken from 78s, since there is a little background hiss. But there isn't much, and it doesn't get in the way. With only big band numbers from only two years, I wouldn't call this "the best of" Benny Goodman, but it's a fun collection and quite enjoyable to listen to.
