Mainly got this to replace some scratchedCDs by Yes that I have. Though learning about Jon Andersons sudden dismissal from other band members makes me wonder about the contradiction of so many fantastic lyrical and musical productions -and what these band mates did to Jon Anderson?! It is to my understanding that Jon Anderson was indeed very sick, and indeed needed a break from a grueling Tour schedule, and to me, NO Reason to dismiss (without notice) and replace Lead singer Jon Anderson. I guess my illusion of these fantastic musicians came to a holt with this information, and I may not see these performers the same again. Though will say, I thought Jons attitude of the situation was very gracious and kind hearted and that takes a a very strong/kind hearted person to have that kind of forgiveness!Learning of Jons situation got me to think about my own life and disappointments and how we sometimes carry those around our entire lives! It also made seeMusicians are people too and as Jon said"Business is business" --still the guys should've let Jon in on what they wanted to do, and include him in the dession making and replacement process..and wonder isn't there a law to protect the artist of such things??--All are great musicians and artists,but what was done to Jon wasn't very fairand sadly all those great songs..didn't they have any meaning to the other band mates who helped create them??I'm not mad at anyone just disappointed and dismayed by the situation, I pray for Jon, and hope he gets clear resolution, feels better, and maybe the guys will take him back!! Jon you inspire me more then ever now!! Wish you well!! :)
